Missing God

Robin looking crazy

I’m extremely blessed because one of my jobs is writing Sunday School material; usually, I get to immerse myself in God.  However, this week, I have found myself so busy that I haven’t had time for my usual Bible reading and “hanging out” with Him.

With a new part time job, a class for one son in a neighboring city, and a birthday party to plan, it feels like I haven’t had a moment to enjoy God. At the end of each day this week, I have felt empty.  I miss God like I might miss an absent family member.  I feel sad, like a piece of me is missing.

God placed man in the Garden to hang out, talk, and have a relationship with Him. That’s why we were created, to be in relationship with our Creator.  When we aren’t in that relationship- it feels like something or someONE is missing.

Every Monday morning, I vlog the LeDwG blog.  It’s a weird name for an important truth.  When we don’t Live Every Day With God, we miss the one thing that makes us whole.

I John 4: 19 says, “We love Him because He first loved us.”  God loves me.  He desires relationship with me.  He wants me to love him back.  That love, requires time with Him.

Next week everything should be back to normal for me.  Hopefully, I will be able to L(ive) e(very) D(ay) w(ith) G(od) again.

I hope you can too ;)!

Thanks for reading  :)!

Love ya!

Robin
