Our sweet friends The Down East Boys performed for us Sunday night during a drive-in service. The concert was awesome! Near the end of their final set, they sang a new song from their recent CD called “A Story that Began at the Cross.”
The song will definitely be one of my favorite songs of all time! But I am most amazed at what happened as they sang the song about the cross.
In the song before this one, a shadow appeared on the roof of our church behind them. The shadow looked like a half “X.” As that song ended and the group began to sing “A Story that Began at the Cross,” the shadow changed. By end of the song, the shadow looked like a leaning cross.
Although I’m uncertain how God created the cross shadow (we have crosses in the front of the church, but we were at the side), I know the visual was a beautiful gift from my loving Daddy God. At the perfect moment, He lined up the universe to give us a special treat. What an AWESOME Father!
Regardless of what is going on in your life today, know that God loves you and is with you in everything- big and small! He has a great plan for you and He is working it out for your good!
